A Grammy Award Winner Will Perform in Almaty on the Star of Asia

There are just over three weeks left to the International Music Festival Star of Asia Almaty.kz, which will be held on June 16-17 at Medeu high-mountain ice rink. The organizers prefer not to disclose all the cards at once, warming up expectations of the audience by declaring more and more big names of the international pop-stage.

 

It was already announced participation of Dilyara Kyazimova from Azerbaijan (the participant of Eurovision-2014) and the titled Uzbek singer Sevara Nazarkhan in the Festival. It became known today that the Iranian-Swedish singer Arash will join them. Let’s see if the singer surprises us this time. The Star of Asia Almaty.kz Festival will be definitely written in his work record as the most “high-altitude” performance of his career.

 

To date, Arash is not only the most popular Persian singer, but also the only one who managed to become an international star. Arash has two Grammies – the main music award of the USA, a victory in Eurovision-2009, the first lines in the charts of Muz TV, Europe Plus and DFM, participation in the MUZ-TV Award-2011, two awards of the Golden Gramophone Prize to his name. His album “Arash” became the best selling album of the year 2006 (the MIDEM Award) and got into the Top-5 of the IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry).

 

Arash successfully tours at all continents and collaborates with such stars of the world show business as Monica Bellucci, Grammy owner from Jamaica Sean Paul, beauty queen from Venezuela Marianne Puglia, Swedish singers Rebecca Zadig and Helena Josefsson, Azerbaijani singer Aysel, star of Jamaican reggae Shaggy, a pioneer of the Swedish rap Lumidee, a famous hit-maker Timbuktu, Russian pop stars Blestyashchiye, Anna Semenovich, Kryostnaya Semiya, Fabrika, the Danish singer Anila from Toy-Box and many others.

 

Arash got used to performing in front of a large audience with concerts in Poland and Sweden accounted 120,000 spectators each, shows at Olympiyskiy Sports Complex in Moscow and many other performances around the world behind him.
